My research integrates i) the study of surface waters and groundwaters to determine the presence, sources, and processes of contamination, and (ii) the investigation of the various ways contaminated water affects human and ecosystem health. I am currently working in Skid Row, Los Angeles; Tororo, Uganda; Cape Town, South Africa; and Farafangana, Madagascar.
