Hillary Hsu is an undergraduate student at Duke University planning on studying Environmental Science. She is interested in the intersection between the environment and its impact on human health and addressing environmental health disparities.
Many of her research and volunteer experiences center around addressing this issue, including spending weekends helping plant native tree species, helping out with trash cleanup on beaches, and planning community programs for kids to engage in environmental arts and crafts activities. These experiences are also what drew her to PlanetLab in the first place, with the opportunity to engage with kids and teens in other parts of the world to teach and give them the power to learn more about the environment and monitor planetary health themselves.
In her free time, Hillary enjoys eating and making ice cream and going for walks while listening to music.
