Danilo is researching the geothermal/thermal energy storage potential of the Durham Triassic Basin on Duke’s campus to assess the possibility of achieving carbon neutral heating and cooling to reduce the significant impact of carbon emissions into the atmosphere as well as developing a reliable energy source to increase community resilience.
